Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Tamil Nadu on a one-day visit, laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs 31,530 crore and dedicated new projects to the country. At the event, which was held at the Chennai Nehru Indoor Stadium, First Minister MK Stalin made various demands to the Central Government while the Prime Minister was on stage.
BJP state leader Annamalai has accused the Tamil Nadu First Minister of playing politics by making the Prime Minister sit on the podium.
Commenting on this, BJP leader Annamalai tweeted, “As an ordinary citizen of India and a proud Tamil, I am ashamed of the misconduct of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Currently, GST revenue has increased significantly in the last one year and all states, including Tamil Nadu, are benefiting. But does the DMK ever pay attention to the facts? They are only interested in politics. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has on many occasions expressed his affection for the Tamil language, literature and culture. In today’s event, too, First Minister MK Stalin did nothing but dedicate politics. ”
Speaking at an earlier press conference, Annamalai said, “The first minister has the courage to make a fuss over Kachchativu. The Tamil Nadu government then took the initiative to pay the remaining compensation.
