Mobile Health Clinic Brings Free Screenings to Residents of Hautes-Pyrénées

Offering vital preventative care, a mobile health clinic is bringing free medical screenings directly to communities across the Hautes-Pyrénées department in France. The Prévent’TIMM bus, equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology, aims to improve access to healthcare for all residents, including those with reduced mobility.

Expanding Healthcare Access in Rural France

The initiative, a collaboration between the Department of Hautes-Pyrénées, ARS 65, and CPAM, addresses a critical need for accessible healthcare, particularly in more remote areas. According to a senior official, the bus is designed to “break down barriers to preventative care and ensure everyone has the opportunity to prioritize their health.” The fully equipped mobile unit features an imaging room, a comfortable reception area, and a dedicated medical office, allowing for a comprehensive range of screening services.
