Capcom Quietly Reveals Release Date for Resident Evil Village on iOS and iPadOS

Capcom has revealed that the highly anticipated game Resident Evil Village will be released on October 30th. The announcement was made quietly on a page for the iOS and iPadOS versions of Village and the upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake. However, the release date for Resident Evil 4 remains listed as “available 2023.”

Although Capcom has not listed any prices for the game, it is worth noting that the macOS version of Resident Evil Village is priced at $29.99 on the Apple App Store. The company has not formally announced the release date for the US version of Village, but reports suggest that it will indeed be launched on October 30th.

The news of the release date follows Gematsu’s report yesterday, confirming that Capcom had announced the same release date for the game’s port in Japan.

In addition to the release date announcement, it has been revealed that Resident Evil Village will be compatible with iPads powered by M1 and M2 chips. However, the game will only run on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, meaning users will need to upgrade to Apple’s latest flagship phones to enjoy the game on their devices.

Notably, during Apple’s iPhone 15 event, Capcom’s latest entry in the survival horror series, along with the Resident Evil 4 remake, shared the spotlight with other games like Death Stranding, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and The Division Resurgence. These games were used by Apple to showcase the impressive capabilities of the new 6-core GPU on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models.

As the release date for Resident Evil Village on iOS and iPadOS approaches, fans of the series are eagerly waiting to experience this highly anticipated game on their Apple devices.
