The Vatican has confirmed that Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolín, will represent the Holy See at the climate change conference being held this weekend in Dubai, after Pope Francis canceled his trip due to health problems.
According to Matteo Bruni, director of the Holy See Press Office, Cardinal Parolin will preside over the Holy See Delegation, which is already in Dubai on the occasion of COP28 to provide “the contribution that the Holy Father would have wanted.” give”.
