The Kremlin does not confirm the stage in Moscow
The Kremlin said the Russian president Vladimir Putin he has not scheduled a meeting with Zuppi, who may visit Moscow after his trip to Kiev today and tomorrow.
“There is currently no (such a meeting on Putin’s agenda),” the Russian presidential spokesman said Dmitry Peskov during his daily press briefing. He added that if there is a change of plans, the Kremlin will communicate it to the media.
Peskov also avoided confirming Zuppi’s trip to Moscow and limited himself to saying that for the moment it is known that the cardinal will go to Kiev and that “the rest will be communicated” at a later time.
