Cars set on fire at Beauvais police station: alleged rioter acquitted

This Friday, Mohamed and Mehdi, 29 and 22 years old, two alleged perpetrators of the attack on the Beauvais police station on June 29, were tried for “intentional violence”, “damage to public property” and for having “filmed the events”. Mohamed was found guilty and sentenced to one year in prison, six of which were suspended; Mehdi was released.
