The little pet’s luck changed when an Amazon employee, checking the contents of a package before its final delivery phase, discovered her exhausted, but still alive.
Immediately, the woman, identified as Brandy Hunter, took Galena to a veterinarian in California, from where they contacted Carrie Clark thanks to the cat’s microchip.
Galena’s story soon became a sensation, capturing the attention of many for the incredible journey and happy reunion.
The cat, found hungry and thirsty, quickly showed calmness and trust towards Brandy Hunter, who took care of her for three days until she could be placed in the hands of her rightful owner.
“She is definitely not afraid of humans as she allowed me to pet her within minutes and literally the moment I bought the pet carrier she walked up to it and didn’t fight to get into it”Hunter shared.
