Riyadh: The Accreditation Committee has approved the establishment of centers abroad for the compulsory employment qualification test for foreigners in Saudi Arabia. The decision was taken at the cabinet meeting held last day. Those who do not pass the qualifying examination will not be able to work in Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Vocational Qualification Examination was started in the field of technology and required special skills. Those from abroad will have an examination center in their own country. Cabinet approval is given to the Permanent Accreditation Committee to approve it. This committee will approve the required examination centers in each country. You will have to pass this exam to get a visa.
Currently this exam is for those in Saudi. There will be exams online and in practice. Only those who pass this can continue to work. There will be three chances. The examination is supervised by the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training. Examinations in institutions with more than six employees started on November 3.
For small firms with one to five employees, the aptitude test will be conducted from December 1. The exam is applicable for over a thousand posts including Electrical, Electronics, Mechanic, IT, Technician and Artists.
