Among the companies and mutual funds participating in the trading on the country’s main capital market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) in the outgoing week (March 3 to 7), the share price of the listed company Central Pharmaceuticals Limited fell the most. The company’s shares topped DSE’s weekly price decliners as investor interest waned.

According to DSE’s weekly market review, Central Pharmaceuticals shares closed at Rs 33.30 on the last business day of the previous week. The closing price of the company’s shares stood at Tk 26.80 after trading on the last working day of the outgoing week. In other words, the unit price of the fund has decreased by Tk 6.50 or 19.52 percent during the week. With this, the company’s shares topped the list of weekly price decliners on DSE.

Among the other top weekly losers on DSE were Ashuganj Power Station Company Limited Non-Convertible Bond down 18.52 percent, AFC Agro Biotech down 16.90 percent, Fareast Islami Life down 16.39 percent, BD Thai Aluminum up 15 percent, Mithun Knitting 14.91 percent, Prime Textiles 13.52 percent, Munnu Fabrics 13.17 percent, Active Fine Chemicals 12.76 percent and BATBC 12.69 percent.
