Central Pharmaceuticals Limited, a company listed in the pharmaceutical and chemical sector, has risen to the top of the transactions between companies and mutual funds in the country’s main capital market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) in the outgoing week (February 25 to 29).

According to DSE’s weekly review, 5 crore 19 lakh 31 thousand 377 shares of the company were traded during the week. The market value of these shares is 158 crore 96 lakh 60 thousand taka.

3 crore 54 lakh 14 thousand 605 shares of Best Holdings, which is on the second place in the list, have been traded, the market value of which is Tk 143 crore 48 lakh 80 thousand.

4 crore 70 lakh 35 thousand 776 shares were traded in Fu-Wang Ceramics, which is in the third place, with a market value of 127 crore 96 lakh 50 thousand taka.

Other companies in the transaction list include Orion Infusion worth Tk 112 crore 20 thousand, Fortune Suze Tk 83 crore 32 lakh 40 thousand, Munnu Fabrics Tk 79 crore 77 lakh 90 thousand, Alif Industries Tk 67 crore 59 lakh 40 thousand, Gemini Sea Food Tk 64 crore 48 Shares of Tk 20 lakh, BD Thai Aluminum worth Tk 61 crore 42 lakh 60 thousand and Taufika Foods and Lavello Ice Cream PLC Tk 58 crore 65 lakh 40 thousand were traded.
