Danny Zabar, CEO of the Prima Investment Fund, verbally attacked Science Minister Ofir Akunis while the latter was walking on the beach in Tel Aviv on Wednesday morning. Zabar protested against legal legislation and called Akunis a scum, thief, liar, and beast. He also called the prime minister crooked and thieving. Akunis responded with “Happy Holidays,” but Zabar continued to insult him and told him to go back to Ramat Aviv and Jerusalem as he was not wanted in Tel Aviv. The Security Division of the Ministry of Innovation and Science filed a complaint with the police against Zabar. Meanwhile, Ministers Idit Silman and Amichai Eliyahu faced difficulties continuing their speeches in Susita’s National Park after leftists shouted at them. Silman responded by saying that democracy is not one-sided. The Likud condemned the attack against Minister Ofir Akunis and urged the police and prosecutor’s office to act against incitement and violence towards elected officials.

In protest of the legal legislation, Zabar said to Aconis: “Scum, thief, liar, beast, that’s what you are. With a crooked prime minister, a thieving prime minister, that’s what you are. The Security Division of the Ministry of Innovation and Science, which is responsible for the security of Minister Akunis, filed a complaint with the police against Sabar.
