Thiruvananthapuram: After the collapse of the Congress in all the five states where assembly elections were held, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has publicly stated that change in the party is inevitable. He wrote on social media that it was time to reform the leadership of the organization.
‘All of us who believe in the Indian National Congress are saddened by the results of the recent Assembly elections. It is time to reaffirm the idea of India where the Congress stands and the positive agenda it gives to the nation and to modernize our organizational leadership in such a way as to rekindle those ideas and inspire the people. One thing is clear, change is essential if we are to succeed ‘- says the note.
