Chennai: In Chennai, jewelery gold prices rose by Rs 120 to Rs 45,320 per quintal today (April 21).

The price of gold is determined based on the international economic environment and the value of the Indian rupee against the US dollar. Gold prices were flat for two days earlier this week after having seen volatility in the past week.

Meanwhile, the price of jewelery gold in Chennai rose by Rs 15 to Rs 5,665 per gram today (Friday). Sawaran rose by Rs 120 to sell at Rs 45,320. 8 grams of 24 carat pure gold is selling at Rs.48,896. Similarly, one gram of silver is selling at Rs.81.30. The price of silver per kilo bar is Rs.81,300 today.
