Chest palpations, vaginal examinations … the country doctor sentenced to 3 years in prison suspended

Three years of suspended prison sentence were pronounced this Thursday, January 5 against an “old-fashioned country doctor” from Derval (Loire-Atlantique) for the “aggravated sexual assaults” he had committed on four of his patients between 2011 and 2015. Doctor Luc F., former municipal councilor (from 1983 to 1995) of the town and ex-president of the local tennis club, will also be ineligible for three years. His name will be entered in the automated judicial file of perpetrators of sexual offenses (Fijais), which will require him to point once a year to the gendarmerie or the police station closest to his home.
