In Tamil Nadu, the decision on the property tax hike will be reconsidered by Chief Minister MK Stalin, said Madhimuga General Secretary Durai Vaiko.
A protest was held on behalf of Madimuga in Chennai Valluvar Kottam condemning the increase in petrol, diesel and cooking gas prices.
Speaking to reporters after attending the event, Durai Vaiko said that the Government of India, which is providing financial assistance to Sri Lanka, which is facing a severe economic crisis, should take advantage of it and urge the government not to disturb Tamil Nadu fishermen.
