Chief Minister MK Stalin today inaugurated the Chatram bus stand in Trichy, which has been upgraded under the Smart City project.
Named as Chattram Bus Stand due to its proximity to Chinnaswamy Pillai Chattram, the bus stand has been upgraded at a cost of Rs 28 crore 24 lakh under the Smart City project. There are 30 bus stops on the ground floor, 11 shops, a maternity ward, a maternity ward, a restroom and toilets, and on the first floor 17 shops, 5 restaurants and a police assistance center. Parking for 350 two-wheelers is also provided.
After completing 2 years of work, Chief Minister MK Stalin will be making public use of the video at a function in Trichy today.
