On December 14, Police Chief-Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Police Major General Aram Hovhannisyan received the delegation led by the First Deputy Head of the Department of Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus – Head of Police, Militarized and Guard Protection, Police Major General Maxim Mironov, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports. from

The message states:

“Welcoming the attendees, Aram Hovhannisyan highly appreciated the cooperation formed between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the two countries. He especially emphasized the opportunities for the development of cooperation, referring to the efforts made in the direction of increasing the efficiency of interaction.

Maxim Mironov, the first deputy head of the Department of Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome, highlighted the effective bilateral cooperation, the joint efforts to solve the problems of maintaining public order and ensuring public security in the two states.

Aram Hovhannisyan thanked the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus for providing service dogs to the Armenian side, which will help the police to perform their tasks more effectively in operative-investigative and search operations.

At the end of the meeting, police chief Aram Hovhannisyan awarded the members of the delegation.

The delegation also visited the Armenian Genocide Victims’ Memorial, where they laid flowers, observing a minute of silence in memory of the Armenian Genocide victims, and got acquainted with the permanent and temporary exhibitions in the Genocide Museum.
