On a night of artistic expressions and emotions, last Monday, April 15, 2024, the opening and award ceremony of the Ninth National Drawing Salon “April 21” was held at the Chimborazo House of Culture.
Last Monday, April 15, 2024, the opening and award ceremony of the Ninth National Drawing Salon “April 21” was held at the Chimborazo House of Culture. The event took place in the Oswaldo Muñoz Marino exhibition hall, starting at 7:00 p.m., located on the fifth floor of the CCECH, on 10 de Agosto and Rocafuerte streets. The highest recognition was awarded to the work titled “Chimeras of Migration”, a creation of profound impact created by the talented artist Oliver Daniel Gusqui. For his part, second place was awarded to Ricardo Alexis Guerra for his work “The Price of Migration.” Likewise, two honorable mentions were awarded to the prominent artists Nicolás Esteban Moscoso and Marcelo Patricio Muñoz, demonstrating the diversity of approaches to the immigration issue. The musical part of the event was in charge of the students of the Vicente Anda Aguirre Educational Unit, who offered an atmosphere according to the occasion, further enriching the artistic experience for all those present.
