China angered by flight over Ladakh border; Condemned by India

New Delhi: The central government has said that China has tried to create provocation on the Indian border. In the last week of June, a Chinese aircraft flew near the Line of Control along the India-China border in eastern Ladakh and the Indian Air Force took timely precautionary measures, government sources said. Government sources also stated that this is the first such airspace violation by China in the Ladakh sector in months.

The Chinese plane was detected by the radar installed by the Air Force in the border area. The incident occurred while the Chinese Air Force was conducting training in the occupied territory of eastern Ladakh. The Chinese Air Force also continues to use defensive equipment during training.

Sources clarified that the matter was brought to China’s attention and no such provocative moves were made by China. She added that India has taken strong measures in the eastern Ladakh border area to prevent any anti-policy moves on the part of China.
