A Private Ceremony and Unexpected Joy
Yu-hwa revealed she tied the knot in a private ceremony earlier this year with a non-celebrity partner. “I got married to the person I love in a private ceremony earlier this year,” she shared, adding, “I feel amazing and grateful these days.” The pregnancy, she explained, was a welcome surprise. “While waiting for the work, a precious life came first,” Yu-hwa stated, reflecting on the unexpected timing.
She acknowledged the delay in sharing the news, explaining she wanted to wait until she felt stable after a period of severe morning sickness. “I am telling this carefully because I have endured a period of severe morning sickness and I feel like I have finally entered a period of stability,” she explained.
Balancing Career and Motherhood
The actress expressed her commitment to continuing her acting career, even as she prepares for motherhood. “As a mother, I will try my best to show you a wider range of acting,” Yu-hwa promised her fans. She also apologized for the late announcement, acknowledging the anticipation surrounding her future projects.
Yu-hwa’s friends were reportedly surprised by the news, with some commenting on her appearance. “As news of my pregnancy spread, my friends actually contacted me as they were surprised to see my Pooh-like appearance. Haha,” she playfully shared. She also noted she intentionally kept the wedding guest list small, wanting to avoid placing a burden on those she invited.
