Chrishell Stause and G Flip Announce Split After Meeting

Four years after they first met on Halloween, Chrishell Stause and Australian musician G Flip have ended their relationship.

The Selling Sunset alum, 45, was photographed on Wednesday, Nov. 4, walking her dog Peace in Los Angeles, marking her first public sighting since announcing the split. Wearing a long tan jacket over a striped top, black sweatpants, and pink Givenchy slides, Stause maintained a serious expression as she walked her neighborhood following the breakup announcement.

Distance Ends Marriage Plans

The separation became public on Oct. 26 when Stause posted a tearful video to Instagram confirming that she and Georgia Claire Flipo were no longer together.

Fighting back tears, she told followers she felt like a little bit of a failure but emphasized that they intended to handle the public split with mutual respect and love.

Shortly afterward, G Flip released their own statement to followers, sharing that their head & heart are feeling very heavy right now and that they were not able to talk. Though the pair held multiple celebration ceremonies—including a Las Vegas wedding in 2023 and a subsequent gathering in Los Angeles in 2025—sources confirmed they were never legally married.

Insiders close to the former couple pointed to geographic distance as a primary catalyst for the breakup. Splitting time between California and Australia proved increasingly difficult. Being an ocean apart drove the two of them apart, with an insider noting that the distance made it hard to dream about a life together when they had that dream on different continents, while both partners wanted to have kids without uprooting their lives for each other.

G Flip, 33, has since been photographed landing in Australia following the separation. Meanwhile, the musician is an Australian native who released three albums, most recently 2025’s Dream Ride, and previously recorded the song “Be Your Man” about Stause in 2023. Stause’s television career spans nearly two decades, including roles on the ABC soap All My Children from 2005 to 2011, Days of Our Lives—which earned her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination—and The Young and the Restless, prior to her starring role in Netflix’s reality real estate series Selling Sunset beginning with its 2019 premiere. Stause was also previously married to Tracker star Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2021.

Costar Support Meets Sharp Critique

While Stause received supportive messages from former boss and ex-boyfriend Jason Oppenheim—who wrote on her social media post that sometimes things just don’t work out, but it certainly doesn’t mean anyone failed—other former colleagues offered a sharper reaction, according to Reality Tea.

Former castmate Bre Tiesi expressed a lack of surprise regarding the split, questioning why Stause had previously scrutinized her own relationship with Nick Cannon. I do find it interesting that people love to just throw rocks at glass houses, and now they can live in their shattered home, Tiesi remarked in an interview.

Friends Arrive in California

Close friends and family members have traveled to California to support Stause. The Traitors costar Chanel Ayan flew in directly from Dubai, while one of Stause’s sisters traveled from Missouri to offer emotional backing alongside a group of longtime friends.
