New Delhi: The Delhi government has banned Christmas and New Year celebrations amid growing Omikron cases. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has ordered a ban on all cultural events.

He directed the district administration and the Delhi Police to strictly abide by the order and submit daily reports in this regard. In addition, traders have been advised not to enter the shops without wearing a mask.

So far, 57 people have been diagnosed with Omicron in Delhi. The capital has the highest number of Omicon patients in the country. In Kerala, Omicron has reported 24 cases.
