Clackamas County Flooding Alerts & Updates

(Oregon City, December 22, 2025) — Evacuation notices remain in effect for several areas of Clackamas County, Oregon, due to the risk of flooding and landslides, according to a county update released December 21 at 3:45 p.m.

Residents in parts of Oregon City and along the Molalla and Pudding Rivers are being asked to prepare for potential evacuation.

  • A Level 2 “Be Set” evacuation is in place for areas along Knightsbridge Road, Barlow Road, Arndt Road, and the Pudding River.
  • Level 1 “Be Ready” evacuations are active for low-lying areas near the Molalla and Pudding Rivers, and a portion of Applegate Terrace in Oregon City.
  • The emergency shelter at Clackamas Community College is closed, but shelter is available at the Clackamas County Fair & Event Center for those with RVs or livestock.

Level 2 Evacuation Notices

A Level 2 evacuation, meaning flooding or landslides are possible, is in effect for Knightsbridge Road, starting at Barlow Road and continuing east onto Arndt Road to the Pudding River. This includes all homes on Barlow Road north of Knightsbridge Road, Fawver Road and Wilcox Road, the county stated.

Level 1 Evacuation Notices

Level 1 evacuations, indicating that flooding or landslides are possible and residents should be ready to leave, are in place for low-lying areas along the Molalla River and Pudding River. Additionally, a Level 1 evacuation is active for Applegate Terrace west of Peter Skene Way in Oregon City due to a potential landslide. Occupants of two properties have been advised to evacuate due to the landslide risk.

Evacuation Shelter Information

The emergency shelter previously located at Clackamas Community College has been closed. Sheltering opportunities remain available at the Clackamas County Fair & Event Center for individuals with recreational vehicles or livestock.

Residents in evacuation zones are advised not to wait to evacuate if they feel unsafe, as conditions can change rapidly.
