Cleaning work continues at the University of El Salvador

The Ministry of Public Works (MOP), in coordination with Confidence phase inmates, carry out cleaning work at the University of El Salvador, as part of the preparations for the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games.

“We carried out articulated work at the University of El Salvador, within the framework of the preparations for the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023. A group of inmates in the trust phase of Penalties contribute to cleaning areas of the University of El Salvador ”, stated the MOP.

According to the Public Works portfolio, apart from the cleaning work, the civil works of 31 buildings that will house the participating athletes of the Central American and Caribbean Games that will participate.

“In addition to the tasks of cleaning the spaces of the University of El Salvador, the inmates in the confidence phase of Penitentiary Centers remove branches that were about to fall and represented a risk for the students and athletes who will participate in the Central American and Caribbean”, mentioned the Ministry of Public Works.
