Abu Dhabi: The UAE court rejected the complaint that the owner did not register the vehicle in his name. He approached the court against the owner of the vehicle and the mediator in the sale. He registered the case demanding the return of the 90,000 dirhams paid to the owner for the purchase of the vehicle. Abu Dhabi Court rejected the case. The owner of the vehicle informed the court that he has not yet handed over the full amount of the vehicle. Also the vehicle owner mentioned in the court that the vehicle was not given to the complainant and only the documents were not given after handing over the money.

He entered into an agreement with the owner and the seller to buy the car for 98,000 dirhams. But the court documents point out that only 90,000 dirhams were paid in the said amount. Meanwhile, the vehicle registration documents etc. are in the possession of the original owner. The mediator in the sale stated in court that his role in the matter ended with the signing of the sale agreement. The car dealer also informed that he could not do anything about the remaining documents.

The owner informed that the complainant is yet to pay eight thousand dirhams. Moreover, the owner told the court that the complainant has been using the car for the past three months. The owner also pointed out in the court that the complainant who was using the vehicle registered in his name had violated the traffic rules.
