MPs of NA “Hayastan” faction Gegham Manukyan, Anna Grigoryan, Kristine Vardanyan and Artur Khachatryan at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia got acquainted with the Azerbaijani proposals sent to Yerevan recently regarding the draft document put into circulation in the negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and issued a joint statement.

“At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, we got acquainted with the Azerbaijani proposals sent to Yerevan recently regarding the draft document put into circulation in the negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Without detailing the individual provisions of the document, we note that the Azerbaijani proposals and approaches do not in any way express the position of a country that wants to establish a real, just and lasting peace.

We reaffirm that all the concerns and anxieties raised by us in the past remain in force, which not only do not disappear in any way, but also deepen,” the statement reads.

To remind, on December 25, RA MFA spokesperson Ani Badalyan confirmed to Aysor.am that Armenia received Azerbaijan’s latest proposals regarding the text of the peace treaty.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov announced that Azerbaijan responded to Armenia’s latest proposals regarding the peace treaty.

He noted that the negotiation process with Armenia continues and expects that the parties will meet in 2024.
