The Government led by President Gustavo Petro met for two days in Paipa, Boyacá, to analyze progress, reaffirm priorities and review commitments within the framework of the National Development Plan 2022-2026Colombia, power of life.”

For his part, the Director of Planning, Alexander López, emphasized the doubling of the investment budget from 2023, in order to overcome the country’s historical inequalities. He highlighted significant advances in areas such as economic growth, reducing unemployment and inflation, as well as strengthening tourism and prioritizing health and education.

In In the workplace, Minister Ramírez reiterated the government’s commitment to workers’ rights and called for a May Day march in support of peace, life, social reforms and dignified and decent work.

The Government emphasized that they will continue to promote structural reforms in key sectors such as health, employment and pensions, with the aim of improving the quality of life of all Colombians.
