Nedunkandam ∙ In response to the challenge of the bus conductor saying ‘nna than file a case’ after trying to harass her, the student went to the police station with about 50 classmates and lodged a complaint. A graduate student of MES College filed a complaint with the Nedunkandam police against Albin, a conductor of a private bus operating on the Nedunkandam-Kattapana route.
The complaint is that the student was insulted and abused in the bus. The students say that the same conductor misbehaved with the student last Onam. When the student questioned, there was a commotion. With this, the conductor apologized. The complaint is that while getting off the bus at the stop yesterday, the same conductor again abused the bus. The students of the college also came forward against the conductor.
When questioned by the students, the conductor’s response was, ‘If you have a complaint, come to the bus parking area and write the complaint on a white paper’. With this, the student and 50 classmates wrote a complaint and handed it over to Nedunkandam SHO: B.S.B.N.U. The SHO said that the complaint has been filed and action will be taken.
