Congress MP Karthi Chidambaram Stresses the Need for Inclusive Women’s Rights Program
Chennai, Tamil Nadu – Congress MP Karthi Chidambaram has emphasized the importance of ensuring that every woman is given equal access to government schemes, following the launch of a women’s rights program in Kanchipuram today. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu inaugurated the scheme, which aims to provide financial assistance of Rs. 1000 to eligible women in the district.

The Tamil Nadu government has encouraged interested women to apply for the program; however, Chidambaram urged the authorities to proactively ensure that potential beneficiaries are aware of the scheme and have the necessary support to apply. “Transparency and outreach efforts are crucial to ensure that no eligible woman misses out on this opportunity,” he stated.
