Throughout the film, the director shows the miserable conditions of the policemen who stay in the base camp of Ilavizhapoonchira and provide security to the area. All the people who come and go in Ilavizhapoonchira have a simple and unspoiled mind like the nature there.
Except for the main characters, all the police characters who come and go in the movie are officially policemen outside the movie and they were presented in the roles of such characters. Police mannerisms etc helped to interact with the audience so much. This brings the film more into reality. The film, which can be placed in the crime investigation genre, has the ability to thrill the audience at every moment and capture them into the film.
The movie Ilaveezhapoonchira and the police character Madhu played by Soubin Shahir are examples of good script and conscious directors creating good characters and good actors through characters with acting potential. I, the audience, was watching Madhu’s alternation of anger, revenge, fear, companionate love and depression with amazement.
He is a great actor yet to be explored. All the actors who have appeared in the film have done their roles well. Madhu’s state of honeymoon depression in the movie seemed to be something that deserves much discussion.
Ilaveezhapoonchira Theater is a film that must be experienced. It is sad that theaters remain unchanged even though cinema has grown so much technologically. Most of the background noises in the movie were annoying and the dialogues seemed unclear. It is precisely because of this technological immutability that theaters follow that a better experience is not achieved. If this continues how can audiences be blamed for relying on OTT platforms for movies?
