He also went to Polda Metro Jaya to provide information and straighten out the news.
Accompanied by his wife, Margaret Christina Yudhi Handayani Rampolodji, Rahmady felt that there had been a distortion of the facts so that the news in the mass media was full of harmful slander.
“I was accused of intimidation, threats and even blackmail. In fact, what happened was the opposite. “I was summoned with threats, including that I would be reported to the Corruption Eradication Committee, the Ministry of Finance, the police, etc., and then an opinion was formed through the media that had nothing to do with my position as a state administrator,” said Rahmady Effendi in his statement, Wednesday (8/5 ).
According to Rahmady, the report against him to the Corruption Eradication Commission and Polda Metro by attorney Wijanto Tirtasana was just a trick to escape responsibility.
“The trigger was, on November 6 2023, Brother Wijanto was reported to Polda Metro on suspicion of committing a series of criminal acts while serving as CEO of the trading company PT Mitra Cipta Agro,” said Rahmady.
Regarding PT Mitra Cipta Agro, Margaret Christina fully explained that it was a private company that she founded with friends in 2017. At that time, the shareholders agreed to appoint Wijanto Tirtasana as CEO.
“We appointed Wijanto, one of the reasons being that he was qualified enough to run the company,” said Margaret.
According to Rahmady, the report against him to the Corruption Eradication Commission and Polda Metro by attorney Wijanto Tirtasana was just a trick to escape responsibility.
