In a coordinated effort between the Chimborazo Police Department, the National Police Station and the Municipal Commissioners, control operations are carried out in the nightlife centers of Riobamba.
The main objective of this action was to guarantee order and compliance with the regulations established for the operation of these establishments. During the operation, it was verified that the businesses had the corresponding operating permits and that they were up to date with all the legal documentation required by the authorities.
This included the review of documents related to the payment of taxes, the security of the premises and compliance with hygiene and health standards. In addition, special attention was paid to avoiding the presence of drinkers on public roads, who usually cause inconvenience and security problems in the areas near night entertainment venues.
As a result of the operation, those establishments that did not comply with all the requirements of the law were summoned. These summonses seek to ensure that the businesses in question regularize their situation and comply with all current regulations. These control operations will continue to be carried out periodically to guarantee the well-being of citizens and the proper functioning of businesses in the city.
