Palakkad ∙ The children’s parliament of school students organized by the Child Welfare Committee has been converted into a CPM program. The children were brought in a vehicle with the flag and banner of the party’s Balasangh. Balasangham activist presided over the inaugural meeting in Palakkad district.

It has been alleged that many schools have not informed children from UP to higher secondary about holding a child parliament to introduce them to the procedures of democracy. The officials explained that the Child Welfare Committee found the children from each area.

The children presented the President’s policy announcement, the Prime Minister’s motion of thanks, the emergency motion, and the proceedings of the Parliament session including the walkout, but it has been alleged that only Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s administrative achievements were heard.

It is alleged that the state event held at Mallapally in Pathanamthitta district was also made a platform to glorify the Chief Minister. He also reiterated the position that Kerala is number one and the Center is not giving anything to Kerala. The program was led by CPM leaders excluding officials. The Child Welfare Committee had asked the schools to participate in the state level programme. Based on this, it is also reported that some of the teachers went back as they did not get their assignments.
