At the National Museum of the History of Azerbaijan in Baku, a meeting was held between the director of the museum, academician Naili Velikhanly, and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the country, Alim Bayel, the museum told Day.Az.
Academician Nailya Velikhanly provided detailed information about the museum. She noted that friendly and fraternal relations between the two peoples have a long history.
During the meeting, discussions took place on Azerbaijani-Kazakh cultural and historical ties and projects for effective cooperation between the parties.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan put forward a proposal to publish a catalog in order to popularize the exhibits stored in the museum and reflecting the historical ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
Then the ambassador visited the House-Museum of the famous philanthropist, major oil industrialist Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev.
The guest was presented with publications based on materials from valuable exhibits of the museum.
