Córdoba’s public transportation system is undergoing a significant overhaul, effective Wednesday, April 1st. This phased approach aims to minimize disruption during the transition. The municipality has not yet announced a long-term plan for Corridor 2 beyond Tamsau’s temporary operation.
Alongside the operational changes, fares will be reinstated on Corridors 2, 5, and 7, as well as on lines 600 and 601, starting Wednesday. Previously, these routes had been operating with fare-free access during the emergency period following FAM’s departure. The reinstatement of fares is intended to help fund the improved service and the new fleet.

A key element of the reorganization has been the absorption of FAM’s workforce by the new operators, primarily SiBus and SolBus. This move was intended to mitigate job losses and ensure a smooth transition for employees familiar with the routes and operations.
