Today more than 400,000 new infections have been reported. This is much higher than the country confirmed its first outbreak in January last year. The Korea Institute for Disease Control and Prevention (KDCA) cites that with the new cases, South Korea’s total corona exposure has now risen to 76,29,275.
On Tuesday, 293 deaths were reported in 24 hours in South Korea. The media has reported that this is the worst day of the epidemic. China is said to be facing its worst corona impact, forcing millions to move back to the lockdown state. A sudden increase in corona infection has paralyzed about 17.5 million residents in the southern technology hub of Shenzhen. Also, restrictions have been imposed in Shanghai and other cities.
