A further 1,507 people in Tiruppu district were confirmed to have corona infection on Sunday.
The number of cases has increased to 1,09,039 since a further 1,507 people were diagnosed with corona infection in Tiruppur district. Of the 6,438 people receiving treatment at government hospitals, private hospitals and corona treatment centers in the district, 736 have returned home. The district has so far recovered 1,01,566 from the corona epidemic and 1,035 have died.
