In this case, it was confirmed yesterday that 800 people traveling on the luxury ship Majestic Princess, owned by Carnival Australia, have been infected with the corona virus. The ship has since been docked near Sydney.

At the same time, those who have not been confirmed with corona infection have been sent home from the ship. In 2020, 914 passengers of the Ruby Princess luxury ship were confirmed to be infected with the corona virus. 28 people died in this. The incident is being compared to the Majestic Princess ship.
Australian Home Affairs Minister Claire O’Neill said, “Adequate precautions are being taken to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. The public need not fear. We have to follow the rules,” he said.
