In Tamil Nadu, 1489 people were confirmed to be infected with the corona virus in a single day yesterday. The number of daily infections in Tamil Nadu has increased from 597 to 1489 in a single week. In the capital Chennai alone, 682 new cases have been confirmed in a single day. This is almost 5 times more than the number of infections on December 18.
