Chennai: Director General of Public Health Selvavinayakam explained the nature of the Super Mega Vaccine Camp to be held on the 8th.
The Public Health Department is actively involved in identifying and vaccinating those who have not been vaccinated against corona in Tamil Nadu. 1.50 crore people in Tamil Nadu have not been vaccinated against 2 doses. Thus the infection is likely to recur. A super mega vaccination camp is scheduled for this week. This camp is to be held with emphasis on those who have not paid the 2nd dose. The list of those who have not been vaccinated with the 2nd dose by gram as of today has been published on the Public Health Department website.
It gives the name of the person who has not been vaccinated, the identification number, the name of the vaccine, the day the first dose was taken, the day the second dose should be taken, and how many days have passed since the first dose was given. Vaccination camps will be set up village wise with this information. More than one camp will also be set up if required. This is because only if everyone is fully vaccinated can they be protected from the next wave. “
