In Salem district, 42 people were affected by the heels corona yesterday. In this condition, the incidence increased slightly yesterday and 45 people became infected. Fifteen people were affected by the corona in Salem Corporation area, 18 in Salem Union, 9 in Attur area and one in Mettur. In addition, one person each from Namakkal and Erode in Salem district were affected by the corona. They are being treated at government and private hospitals in the district. Forty-six people who had been treated for corona had recovered and were discharged. 498 people are being treated. One lakh 1,715 people have so far been affected by the corona in the district. An 82-year-old man from Salem died tragically in a private hospital without any treatment for Corona. The death toll from the corona has risen to 1,715.
