Cosm, the global leader in experimental media and immersive technology, announced today that its full production and distribution arm, Cosm Studios, will distribute the first-ever direct production of Space Explorers: Artemis Ascending, a Felix & Paul production studios. An Artemis I mission launch summary, broadcast live to planetariums around the world.

In partnership with Emmy Award winner Felix & Paul Studios, the release will be filmed in 8K, broadcast live to Dome in 360°, and distributed free of charge to partner planetariums. Powered by DigiStar and the Cosm Experience Engine for pixel perfect control and content delivery, DomeX will be broadcast live at the Cosm Experience Center in Salt Lake City, Utah with a 20-meter LED dome in 8K resolution.

Wherever the live broadcast is shown, viewers around the world will have a unique and intimate look at humanity’s next ambitious journey into space.

The launch of the Artemis I mission will include a Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, the most powerful rocket ever launched. Five separate cameras will be used to capture the historic takeoff, including high-speed cameras around the launchpad, all of which will be displayed during the livestream event.
