Costco: New Hiyo Tonic Variety Pack Now Available Nationwide

The warehouse retailer is betting on a growing trend toward mindful drinking with a new partnership.

For consumers scaling back on alcohol this month – or embracing a longer-term shift toward mindful drinking – Costco now offers a convenient way to stock up on alternatives.The warehouse giant is rolling out Hiyo non-alcoholic tonics in a new “Sunset Party Pack” (18pk) to its stores nationwide.

Hiyo tonics are crafted with adaptogens like ashwagandha and L-theanine, which are believed to support stress management and mental performance.

George Youmans, Hiyo’s co-founder, described the launch as a “test run,” adding, “Hopefully this test run will perform well, and we’ll become an everyday item, but for now, go get our Costco-exclusive Sunset Party Pack (18pk) while you still can at your local Costco.”

Hiyo previously offered a 4-flavor Classic Pack (blackberry lemon, peach mango, strawberry guava, and watermelon lime) priced at $25.99 in select Costco stores in california and Colorado, beginning last August.

This move by Costco reflects a broader trend in the beverage industry.The alternative spirits segment is projected to nearly double between 2023 and 2033, reaching approximately $706 million, according to allied Market Research. The global nonalcoholic beverage market, valued at roughly $1.3 billion in 2024, is forecast to hit $5 billion by 2035, as reported by wiseguy.
