Costco Releases Exclusive K-Pop Demon Hunters Kayou Trading Card Boxes

Fans of Netflix’s animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters can expand their collections through new Kayou trading card sets and Mattel’s upcoming third wave of action figures, offering collectors multiple ways to engage with the franchise ahead of 2027.

Costco Releases Member-Exclusive Kayou Trading Card Collector Box

Trading card giant Kayou has officially launched an exclusive K-Pop Demon Hunters Collector Box available only at Costco warehouses and Costco online. Priced at $53.99 (with shipping and handling included online), the bundle delivers over 20% in savings compared to buying each item individually, which normally totals around $69.89. Because this is a member-exclusive release, you will need an active Costco membership to order online or purchase in-store. Costco is currently capping purchases to one transaction with a maximum of two units per membership every 24 hours.

Costco is offering the collector box in two distinct themed versions — Huntrix and Saja Boys — letting you rep your favorite group from the movie. Both versions come packed with 82 total cards and a premium display piece: 10 Energy Edition Card Packs (80 cards total) — Each pack contains 8 cards from Kayou’s Wave 1 collection. The set features 130 possible cards across 11 rarity levels, ranging from high-end character illustrations to chibi artwork. Bundles also include 1 SDCC Promo Card featuring the fan-favorite Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird promo card, which previously only debuted at San Diego Comic-Con, alongside a Three-Layer Acrylic Card Frame — a custom display case featuring a layered character scene designed to showcase your favorite card pulling on a desk or shelf.

Mattel Prepares Third Wave of Action Figures for January 2027

KAYOU’s cards are arriving alongside continued expansion of Mattel’s KPop Demon Hunters action-figure range. Netflix awarded Mattel the global license for the franchise’s dolls and action figures in October 2025. The company has since released fashion dolls based on Mira, Rumi, Zoey, and Jinu, a deluxe 12-inch Rumi doll, and electronic singing versions of HUNTR/X. Meanwhile, Hasbro has released role-playing toys and games, and Funko has produced figures through its Pop! brand. Mattel’s first 6-inch figure wave featured the HUNTR/X trio alongside Saja Boys members Jinu and Abby, accompanied by a Rumi and demon Jinu battle two-pack, while Wave 2 subsequently added Saja Boys members Baby, Romance, and Mystery.

The third wave will release on Jan 1, 2027, with four new products priced at $21.99 each and sold through online retailers and brick-and-mortar stores:

  • Mira in her What It Sounds Like outfit: Curved moon sword, two extra face plates, and two extra hands.
  • Derpy Tiger with Sussie: Additional accessories and Sussie as part of the figure.

The first three figures have between 18 and 21 articulation points and include stands and additional accessories. For collectors, the latest releases offer two distinct ways to engage with KPop Demon Hunters, from chasing specific rarities in KAYOU’s card set to displaying detailed versions of characters through Mattel’s action figures.
