A couple accused of killing and eating dog meat was arrested in Estância, in southern Sergipe, last Friday (9). The information was confirmed by the Court of Justice of Sergipe (TJSE) this Monday (12).
According to reports, the police caught the woman covered in blood and consuming the animal’s viscera, which had an open belly, inside the house. Residents of the region used to hear his screams frequently.
The suspects were charged with the crime of mistreatment and taken to the police station. They went through a custody hearing, one of which received provisional release and the other was sent to the prison system. She had already been convicted of rape of vulnerable.
