There are 135,990 new Coronavirus infections according to the Covid-19 data of the latest weekly bulletin between 30 December 2022 and 5 January 2023. In seven days, 775 people died with a variation of + 9.8% compared to the previous week. In the week under examination, there were 855,823 swabs, both molecular and antigenic, with a variation of +6.0% compared to the previous week and with a positivity rate of 15.9%.

LAZIO – There are 1,790 new covid infections in Lazio according to today’s bulletin, January 6th. There are also 7 other deaths. There are 981 new cases in Rome. ”Today in Lazio out of 1,375 molecular swabs and 9,610 antigenic swabs for a total of 10,985 swabs, 1,790 new positive cases are recorded (-84), 7 deaths (+5), 709 hospitalized (+9), 29 intensive care (+2) and +2,835 recovered. The ratio between positives and swabs is 16.2% “, as emerges from the Bulletin of the Lazio Region.

TUSCANY – There are 737 new covid infections in Tuscany according to today’s bulletin, January 6th. There are also 8 other deaths. 158 cases confirmed with molecular swab and the other 579 with rapid test.

The number of infected people detected in the region since the beginning of the pandemic therefore rises to 1,573,695. New cases are 0.05% higher than the previous day’s total. The healed grow by 0.04% (631 people) and reach 1,488,571 (94.6% of total cases). The data relating to the progress of the pandemic are those ascertained today on the basis of the requests of the national civil protection.

At the moment, therefore, there are 73,725 positives in Tuscany, +0.1% compared to yesterday. Of these, 464 (stable compared to yesterday) are hospitalized: 21 (2 more) are in intensive care. The list of deaths is updated with 8 new deaths: 4 men and 4 women with an average age of 86.6 years.

SARDINIA – There are 316 new covid infections in Sardinia according to today’s bulletin, January 6th. There is also another death. ” In Sardinia there are today 316 further confirmed cases of positivity to Covid (of which 288 diagnosed with an antigenic swab). A total of 1844 swabs were processed, between molecular and antigenic. There are 8 patients hospitalized in intensive care (+2). There are 122 patients hospitalized in the medical area (+1). 5999 are the cases of home isolation (-125). One death has been recorded in the territory of the ASL of Cagliari”, communicates the Sardinia Region.

EMILIA ROMAGNA – There are 9,406 new covid infections in Emilia Romagna according to the weekly bulletin published today, Friday 6 January. There are also 77 other deaths. ”Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic in Emilia-Romagna there have been 2,114,500 positive cases, 9,406 more than the previous week, out of a total of 54,928 swabs performed in the last 7 days, of which 21,645 molecular and 33,283 rapid antigen tests. Overall, the percentage of new positives out of the number of swabs made is 17.1%”, communicates the Emilia Romagna Region.

”These are the data relating to the week from 30 December 2022 to 5 January 2023, updated at 10 am yesterday, Thursday 5 January, as requested by the Ministry of Health. There are 53 patients currently hospitalized in intensive care units in Emilia-Romagna ( -1 compared to the previous week, -1.9%). As for the patients hospitalized in the other Covid wards, they are 1,487 (-171 compared to the previous week, -10.3%). On the territory, the patients hospitalized in intensive care are distributed as follows: 2 in Piacenza (unchanged compared to the previous week ), 2 in Parma (-4), 1 in Reggio Emilia (unchanged), 7 in Modena (+1), 16 in Bologna (+2), 7 in the Imolese district (-1), 5 in Ferrara (-2) , 4 in Ravenna (+1), 1 in Forlì (unchanged); 1 in Cesena (unchanged), 7 in Rimini (+2 compared to the previous week). The average age of the new positives is 58.2 years. The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 1,637 new cases in the last week (out of a total of 428,119 since the beginning of the epidemic), followed by Modena (1,228 out of 317,561), Reggio Emilia (1,142 out of 242,570) and Ravenna (1,111 out of 200,454); then Parma (913 out of 181,676), Ferrara (834 out of 157,404) and Rimini (743 out of 193,492); then Cesena (588 out of 117,852), Forlì (516 out of 98,774), Piacenza (449 out of 111,632) and, finally, the Imolese district, with 245 new positive cases out of a total of 64,966 since the beginning of the pandemic. Active cases, i.e. the sick effective are 19,836 (-3,266). Of these, people in isolation at home, i.e. those with mild symptoms who do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, total 18,296 (-3,094), 92.2% of the total active cases”.
