A few days ago, the work of a gardener became fatal for a thirty-nine-year-old man from Thailand. The man was mowing the grass with an older clipper, which broke in half within a few moments, and one part of the blade cut the man’s natural hair. The summoned doctors were unable to help the gardener and had to pronounce him dead.
At the beginning of last week, experienced gardener Praditsin Chuypad (†39) was called to work. In three days, according to The Sun newspaper, he should have managed to mow grassy areas in one of Thailand’s forest parks in Nong Bua Lamphu province.
The gardener wanted the job done as soon as possible, so he did it quickly. Chuypad used an older manual trimmer to cut the grass. A blade was attached to a long wooden pole with which Chuypad cut the grasses short.
But the Thai did not finish his work. On Wednesday afternoon, random passers-by found him in a pool of blood in a forest park. As it turned out later, the gardener apparently struck some kind of metal with the tool, which caused the clipper blade to break in two. One of them fell on the man and cut his penis. As a result, Chuypad bled to death within moments.
The uncle of the deceased man, Narongsak Laketago (56), also commented on the accident. He said that his nephew had been interested in gardening since he was a little boy. “I warned him several times to be careful when using such clippers. But he ignored it,” lamented his uncle.
