Crédit Mutuel wants to gain 1 million customers in four years

STORY – The bank, headquartered in Strasbourg, is banking on insurance and technology to develop.

Crédit Mutuel Alliance Federale (Cmaf) goes on the offensive. While the clouds are gathering in the French economic sky, the financial establishment which brings together 14 of the 18 federations of the Crédit Mutuel group and the CIC is eager for growth. It hopes to gain 1 million new customers within four years. And exceed 15 million individual and business customers in France by 2027.

To achieve this objective, the mutualist group, whose head office is in Strasbourg, has set itself “a clear course for 2027: conquest in all markets and territories to increase its development”. Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, which intends to accelerate its diversification, is banking heavily on insurance to win over customers.
