A. Ganesan, Chief Secretary of Chettinad Cement Plants presided over the competition which started at Chettinad College of Engineering and Technology, Puliyur next. In this, 4 teams of officers and workers of the factories operating in Ariyalur, Karikali and Puliyur participated in the Chennai head office. Shields and trophies will be awarded to the winning teams in the tournament which will be held till Sunday (Oct 16). Karikali Plant Co-Chairman Krishnan, Puliyur Cement Plant Chairman Harikishore, Chettinad Engineering College Principal Punitha and others participated in the opening ceremony.
