Hurt by this, the girl committed suicide by hanging herself with her saree inside the room. As soon as the news of death was received, there was chaos among the family members.
Sudha Devi (26), a resident of Ghansaul village of Bisanda police station area of the district, committed suicide by hanging herself with a saree in a thatched roof inside her room on Friday morning. After a long time, when the husband reached inside the room, he saw that she was hanging from the noose. He screamed as soon as he saw the dead body. Hearing the noise, nearby people reached the spot. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem after Panchnama.

The deceased’s brother Manoj Kumar told that Sudha was married to Sandeep 5 years ago, she has a son and a daughter. Brother-in-law Sandeep lives and works in Delhi, his cousin brother Yash from Motihari village of Naraini Kotwali area used to visit his house. He also worked with his husband in Delhi. Gradually the closeness started increasing. He started pressurizing her to marry his sister. The young man’s family also agreed to the marriage, while the husband objected to his cousin’s coming to the house.
Police engaged in investigation
The husband had also called the Panchayat on Thursday regarding this matter. In Bhari Panchayat, the husband accused the wife of having illicit relations with her cousin. There was a dispute between husband and wife regarding this matter. Due to this he committed suicide by hanging himself. In this regard, Inspector Shyam Babu Shukla of Bisanda police station said that the family members are talking about committing suicide due to illicit relationship. The case is being investigated.
